These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by The Gather Stories, LLC, doing business as Rebekah Dani Events (“RDE”). By entering into a service agreement or signing a proposal, the Client agrees to the policies outlined below.
Scope of Services
Rebekah Dani Events provides professional event planning and design services.
As the planning team, RDE guides the planning process, coordinates event logistics, and oversees the execution of the event day with professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
As the design team, RDE develops a cohesive visual experience that reflects the Client’s story, style, and priorities. RDE collaborates with the full event professional team to execute the approved design and ensure the overall aesthetic and guest experience are thoughtfully carried through.
Specific services are outlined in the Client’s proposal.
Communication & Client Cooperation
Business Hours
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
All planning communication should be conducted via email to maintain organized documentation of decisions and details.
Clients may email questions or ideas at any time. Major planning topics may be addressed during scheduled meetings or grouped responses once research has been completed.
Please allow 24–48 business hours for responses. Response times may be longer during event production periods, particularly Thursday through Sunday when RDE is executing events.
Throughout the planning process, Clients may be required to provide information, approvals, or decisions by specific deadlines. Failure to provide requested information may delay the planning process.
If communication lapses continue despite multiple attempts to reconnect, RDE reserves the right to terminate services for lack of participation. In such cases, all payments made are forfeited and cancellation terms apply.
Payment and Fees
The investment outlined in the Client’s proposal represents the minimum service investment.
Professional planning and design fees reflect the services required based on the information available at the time of booking. Final investment may adjust based on the final scope of planning, design, and production.
Payment structure:
• 50% non-refundable retainer due upon booking
• 25% payment due midway through the planning process
• 25% final balance due 60 days prior to the event
All balances must be paid prior to the event date.
Additional services requested outside the original scope may be billed hourly. Any such services will be documented and invoiced accordingly.
Late payments beyond seven business days may incur a 10% late fee, and planning services may pause until the account is brought current.
Event Day Coverage
Event planning packages include up to 12 hours of event-day service.
Additional hours requested or required may be billed at the applicable overtime rate.
Floral and Production Adjustments
Floral and production investments are based on preliminary design concepts and event details.
As design development progresses, final pricing will reflect the actual materials, quantities, rentals, labor, and installation requirements necessary to execute the approved design.
Floral orders are placed in advance with wholesalers and growers. Once orders are placed, reductions in floral scope may not reduce the overall floral investment.
Additions requested within 30 days of the event may incur an additional service fee and are subject to product availability.
Service Fee
A service fee of 18% may be applied to support event-day staffing and operational costs required to execute the event.
Travel and Accommodation
Events located more than 100 miles from RDE’s office location may require additional travel expenses.
Travel costs may include mileage, accommodations, and related expenses necessary for the RDE team to execute the event. These costs will be communicated in advance when applicable.
Mileage for approved event-related travel may be billed at the current federal mileage reimbursement rate.
Scope Adjustments
The proposal reflects the scope of services anticipated at the time of booking.
If the event scope expands, including but not limited to:
• increased guest count
• additional event days
• expanded design installations
• additional logistical complexity
• travel requirements
RDE reserves the right to adjust professional fees accordingly. Any adjustments will be communicated prior to implementation.

RDE provides planning and design services only and is not responsible for services performed by other event professionals.

Exclusivity
Clients agree that RDE will serve as the exclusive planning and design provider for the event.
No other planning or design firm may provide similar services for the event without written approval from RDE.
Cancellation
If the Client cancels services for any reason, all payments made are non-refundable.
If cancellation occurs within 90 days of the event, the remaining balance of the agreement becomes immediately due.
Date Changes
Requests to change the event date may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking. Retainers remain non-refundable.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, acts of war, or other unforeseen events.
Inclement Weather
Clients are responsible for securing appropriate weather contingency plans when outdoor events are planned.

RDE reserves the right to use photographs and videos from the event for marketing and promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
Intellectual Property
All planning materials, processes, documents, and templates created by RDE remain the intellectual property of RDE and may not be reproduced or distributed.
Limitation of Liability
RDE’s liability for any claim arising from services provided shall be limited to the total amount paid by the Client for professional services.
RDE shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages including emotional distress, vendor performance issues, or loss of enjoyment.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Entire Agreement
The Client’s signed proposal and these Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
